The Broadcasts feature in Contact Reach is a useful tool and can be used in any way you prefer. But when they fail or get stuck, it can be very frustrating.


Here are some reasons why some broadcasts fail and some get stuck (for scheduled broadcasts):

  • SMS/Email Settings don't work (Fail)

- When an SMS or Email broadcast is launched but the SMS and Email Settings don't work (e.g., due to incorrect API credentials, wrong API key, etc.), the broadcast will most likely fail.

How to fix: Make sure to check your SMS or Email settings and ensure that the details are correct.

  • Phone Number not yet registered for A2P 10DLC - SMS not sending (Fail)

- Numbers that aren't registered for A2P 10DLC won't be able to send text messages from an SMS API, they get blocked by carriers.

  • Server Traffic (Pending)

- If your broadcast has been stuck in Pending status for more than an hour, there's a high probability of a server traffic

- Check again in a hour and if the broadcast still isn't sent, please reach out to support at support@mylocalagency.co
